Reiki: An ancient Japanese healing practice using light hand placements to channel healing energies to the recipient. Commonly used to treat emotional distress as well as chronic and acute physical problems. Also used to assist the recipient in achieving spritual focus and clarity.
Stress Management Planning: Receive assistance for developing a personal plan for reducing and managing the stress in your life. Through education and practice, stress management planning includes various strategies and tools including breathwork, meditation, guided imagery, progressive relaxation, self-hypnosis and other practical tools.
Core Belief Work: Part of the human condition is to accumulate negative fixed unconscious beliefs about ourselves. The most common are "I'm not worthy" and "I'm not good enough." This guided process sources the origins of these deeply held beliefs that may effect all areas of life. When raised to the conscious level, these beliefs can be considered objectively, processed and released.
Meditation: Meditation is a process of quieting the constant mental dialogue and cultivating your natural stillness within. Approaches may take the form of concentrative (focusing on the breathe or a word/sound) meditation or mindfulness (insight/present moment awareness) meditation. During one-on-one individualized meditation instruction, Michele teaches you how to meditate and guides you through several meditation techniques tailored just for you. Guided Imagery/Creative Visualization: A process of engaging the senses through vivid imaginative descriptions. This technique is used for relaxation, healing and manifesting dreams and goals. Guided Imagery works on the premise that the mnd and body are intricately connected, and that the body readily accepts the messages and images that it receives. Guided Imagery programs the body with positive messages & images. It is often used to alleviate stress and to treat stress related conditions such as insomnia and high blood pressure. Also, imagery assists those with anxiety disorders, depression and chronic pain.
Self-Esteem/Affirmation Work: Self-esteem is regarding the self with unconditional love in all circumstances. Lack of self-esteem effects all areas of healthy functioning. Fortunately, if self-esteem is weak, it can be cultivated and strengthened. Using positive affirmations, imagery, meditation, healing tools and positive dialogue, Michele assists you elevate your natural state of self-acceptance.
